The New PAFCU Visa® Platinum Preferred
Credit Card is Coming in February!

We are very excited to announce major upgrades to our services designed to improve your banking experience with us.

Starting February 23rd, our New Visa® Platinum Preferred Credit Cards will be available to qualified members! These cards will be fully integrated into our system, providing a more fluid experience that you to monitor your activity and payments easily through the PAFCU online banking and mobile app.

  • Touchless Technology: Our new cards feature touchless (tap-to-pay) payment capabilities.
  • Fresh Design: Enjoy an updated look and feel of the card.

  • Enhanced Rewards: A new PAFCU Visa® Rewards program includes more rewards and cash back options!

  • Added feature: Apple and Google/Android wallets and Apple and Google watches.

! Important Action Required for Current Cardholders !

Your current PAFCU Visa® Platinum Preferred Credit Card (starting with 42465550) will be deactivated on February 22, 2026. Action is required from all cardholders once you receive your new replacement card in the mail.

  1. Activate: Upon delivery, the new card will need to be activated no sooner than February 23rd, 2026. If you have not received your new card by February 23rd, please contact us immediately to confirm your mailing address and request a replacement. 
  2. Update Auto Payments: It is essential that you update all auto payments and recurring charges linked to your current card with the new PAFCU Visa® Platinum Preferred Credit Card you receive in the mail. This will ensure your payments remain uninterrupted.
  3. Start using your card: Now you can tap to pay! 

Reward Points: Your existing reward points will be seamlessly transferred over to the new PAFCU Visa® Rewards Program. As a bonus! Starting February 23rd, your reward points that were close to expiring will not expire for 3 years! This gives you more opportunities to redeem your points.

FAQ For Current Visa® Platinum Preferred Credit Card Holders 

Will my automatic payments be moved to the new card?

No. You must set up any automatic payments and recurring charges again using the new card number. If you have payments set up through another bank or financial institution, you will be required to update them with your new card information.

Will my subscription payments transfer to the new card?

No. You will need to manually update your card number for all recurring subscriptions and services.

Will I be able to see my credit card transactions in the app and online banking?

Yes. Your credit card transactions will be fully visible under the dedicated Credit Card tab within both the mobile app and online banking.

Will I be able to pay my credit card directly through the app or online banking?

Yes. You can pay your credit card directly by navigating to the "Move Money" feature and selecting your credit card account as the recipient.

Will this transfer to the new card affect my Credit Score?

No. The transition to the new credit card will have no effect on your credit score.

Will my reward points transfer to the new card?

Yes, absolutely! Your existing reward points will be seamlessly moved to the new card. You can access the new rewards site directly here.

Do I still need to notify the Credit Union about my travel plans when leaving Michigan?

Yes. To ensure uninterrupted service, travel updates must still be set up manually by contacting the Credit Union prior to your departure.

Will my past credit card transaction history show up on the new card?

No. Online access will begin with transactions made on the new system (starting around March). However, you can still request a printed copy of any historical statements predating that date by contacting the Credit Union.

Will my new card use the same card number?

No. You will be issued a brand new credit card number. Additionally, any joint owners on the account will also receive a new card with a unique number, different from the primary owner's.
