PAFCU Accepting Donations for Ukrainian Refugees in Poland

Poland has been leading the way in helping Ukrainian refugees, and PAFCU is responding to our homeland’s plea for financial assistance.

Thanks to the generous contributions of credit union members and non-members -- along with a dollar-for-dollar match by PAFCU -- the Polish Red Cross received a donation of over $55,000 on May 1, 2022!

Since the war in Ukraine is ongoing, Polish-American Federal Credit Union will continue accepting donations to the PAFCU Ukrainian Refugee Fund. The credit union match has concluded.

Thank you for your support.

A Message From Our President and Board Chairman

"Poles know as well as anyone why this effort is so important. Poland lived through a similar aggression in 1939, much like what Ukraine is experiencing now.

The images of decimation we see every day are heartbreaking. Now Poland’s humanitarian resources are strained with such an influx of refugees. We must help."

John Swidwinski, PAFCU President

“Metro Detroit Polonia is well known for being generous for worthy causes. I’m proud that the credit union and our members are standing up to help displaced Ukrainians.”

Mark Reaume, PAFCU Chairman of the Board
